The details

A dragon-prowed longship rows in towards the settlement while a torchlit crowd gathers on the bank, all cut in bold woodcut lines of rust red and cream and framed by a runic border. It is York a thousand years ago — Jorvik — told with the swagger of a Norse saga.

A bold, characterful choice for a study, games room or teenager's bedroom.
